MP withdraws proposed 2-child policy rule for govt jobs

Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav withdrew a draft provision that sought to make candidates with more than two children ineligible for government jobs. Draft provision was based on the existing rule introduced by the General Administration Department in 2001. Under the provision, individuals with more than two children born on or after January 26, 2001, were barred from government employment.

11 children killed in sleep in Pakistan's attack on Afghanistan

Afghanistan said that Pakistan's overnight strikes inside the country, near their border areas, killed at least 13 people, including 11 children in their sleep.
