India shamed Pakistan the UN Security Council meeting for designating some groups as "Fitna al-Hindustan". India's representative Harish Parvathaneni said, "It's an outcome of an organised factory of hate coming from the deep state of Pakistan which aims to keep their citizens in a state of permanent hostility with India to perpetuate their stay in power...and detract them from core...problems."

IMD puts parts of K'taka on red alert as extremely heavy rain, winds predicted

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has put Uttar Kannada, Udupi and Dakshin Kannada on red alert as extremely heavy rain and strong surface winds are expected in these parts of Karnataka on Tuesday. Apart from these, Shimoga and Chikmagalur are also on red alert for Wednesday. The southwest monsoon entered India on June 4 and advanced further into other states.
