Pentagon raises threat of Israel spying on US to critical: Report

The Pentagon's intelligence arm has raised its assessed threat level for Israeli espionage from "high" to "critical", according to reports. Israel is reportedly attempting to monitor senior US officials to gain insight into internal White House deliberations on the ongoing Middle East conflict. However, an Israeli Embassy spokesperson in Washington dismissed the allegations, calling them "false".

Ex-CIA official who had 300 gold bars created fake spy program

David Rush, an ex-CIA official found in possession of more than 300 gold bars worth an estimated $40 million, allegedly created a fake, highly classified intelligence programme to divert millions of dollars for personal use. Amid a crisis within the TMC, rebel party MPs have camped in Delhi, Times Now reported.
