TMC to move HC against Speaker's decision to appoint expelled TMC MLA as LoP

Trinamool Congress is set to move the Calcutta High Court against the West Bengal Assembly Speaker's decision to appoint expelled TMC MLA Ritabrata as Leader of Opposition, MP Kalyan Banerjee confirmed. "We have decided that the LoP appointed by the Speaker is illegal," said Banerjee. Ritabrata's appointment comes amidst speculations that TMC is headed for a split.

Oil India reports new natural gas discovery in Andaman offshore well

Oil India Limited on Friday reported the presence of natural gas in Sri Vijayapuram-3, an exploratory well drilled off the east coast of the Andaman Islands. This is the second well in the block where the hydrocarbon presence has been confirmed. Haryana makes EV charging infra mandatory in new buildings

Haryana’s Town and Country Planning Department has amended the Haryana Building Code-2017, making EV charging infrastructure mandatory in residential and non-residential buildings. All new and renovated non-residential buildings with parking for at least 10 cars must provide one charging point for every three parking slots.
