WB to set up 'holding centres' for illegal B'deshi, Rohingya deportees

West Bengal government has directed all District Magistrates to set up "holding centres" for detained illegal foreigners and released foreign-origin prisoners awaiting deportation. The order specifically mentions Bangladeshi nationals and Rohingyas staying illegally in India. Earlier, CM Suvendu Adhikari said detained Bangladeshi nationals would now be directly handed over to the BSF.
