Videos and pictures showed Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salauddin, a US-designated terrorist, and Al-Badr chief Bakht Zameen Khan among the top terrorists.

Steel ministry seeks removal of met coke import duty: Report

India's steel ministry has asked the finance ministry to remove anti-dumping tariffs on low-ash metallurgical coke imports, citing supply shortages and higher domestic prices, Reuters reported. India had imposed the temporary duty in December for six months. Imports of the steelmaking raw material, mainly sourced from China, Indonesia, Poland, Japan and Switzerland, have declined sharply.

Coal stocks at power plants dip to 68% of normal levels as peak power demand breaks records

BRS leader Chinthalapadi found dead, body dumped in gunny bag

A local leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Chinthalapadi Madhu, was found dead under suspicious circumstances near Yerkaram stage in Telangana’s Suryapet district, police said on Saturday. The 42-year-old’s body was packed in a gunny bag and dumped by the roadside, police added. A police official said the deceased had been involved in a murder case in 2008.

Bengal govt removes Mamata Banerjee-designed football-themed sculpture from Salt Lake Stadium

The West Bengal government on Saturday removed the football-themed half-body sculpture installed outside Salt Lake Stadium, which had been designed by ex-CM Mamata Banerjee. 2 Thailand nationals caught with 48 kg ganja in one of biggest seizures at Delhi airport

Customs officials at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport seized 47.8 kg of hydroponic weed (ganja) worth around ₹48 crore from two Thailand nationals arriving from Bangkok on Friday. Officers intercepted the passengers after they crossed the Green Channel and recovered six vacuum-sealed packets during baggage checks.
