Meta breached rules by failing to keep kids off platforms: EU

The EU has charged Meta for breaching its laws by failing to prevent children under 13 from accessing its platforms, Facebook and Instagram. The commission said Meta's measures to identify and remove children from its platforms were inadequate and that 10-12% of European children under 13 use them. "Terms and conditions should not be mere statements," EU tech chief said.

Bengal records 89.99% voter turnout till 5 pm in phase 2 polling, crosses 2021 record of 80.4%
