West Bengal & Tamil Nadu see highest-ever voter turnout since Independence
The Election Commission said that Tamil Nadu and West Bengal recorded the highest-ever voter turnout since Independence on Thursday, when Assembly elections were held. Tamil Nadu and West Bengal saw polling percentages of 84.69% and 91.78%, respectively.
