US law firm that charges up to ₹2 lakh/hour apologises for AI 'hallucinations' in filings

Sullivan & Cromwell, a major Wall Street law firm, has apologised to a judge for submitting a court filing containing AI-generated errors. The filing, related to a bankruptcy case, had fake citations emerging from AI "hallucinations", instances in which AI produces fabricated or incorrect data. The mistakes were caught by rival law firm Boies Schiller Flexner.

Govt debunks claim that crypto scam led to attack on Indian ship by Iran

The Ministry of External Affairs debunked a false claim that an Indian ship fell victim to a crypto scam and was attacked by Iran in Strait of Hormuz. "Please stay alert against such false and baseless claims and posts on social media," it said. The false claim said the ship was asked to "pay money" to be allowed safe passage.

Massive fire at shoe factory in Narela, over 15 tenders deployed

A massive 'Category 6' fire broke out at a three-storey shoe/slipper manufacturing unit in outer Delhi's Narela Industrial Area on Wednesday morning, India Today reported. More than 15 tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the blaze. Visuals from the scene showed thick plumes of smoke billowing from the building as it was evacuated and the area cordoned off.

China names 2 Pakistani astronauts for its space mission training

Two Pakistani candidates, Muhammad Zeeshan Ali and Khurram Daud, have been selected as first foreign astronauts to train for China's space station missions, the China Manned Space Agency announced. They will visit China as reserve astronauts for training, and one of them will participate in a space mission as a payload specialist, becoming first foreign astronaut onboard Tiangong space station.

A video purportedly shows hotel staff at Asvara Resort Ubud in Bali removing stolen items from the luggage of a group of Indian tourists.
