'I've visited US twice since Trump became President,' says Rajnath in Germany; audience laughs

UP Board Class 10, 12 results to be declared tomorrow at 4 pm

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will declare Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) results tomorrow at 4 pm. The results will be made available on the official websites, upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in. Students will be able to check their scores using their roll number and school code. Over 54 lakh students had registered for exams this year.

An NSG commando deployed in the security detail of Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu fainted while the CM was addressing the media in Vijaywada on Monday. Visuals show the commando, who was standing at attention, suddenly losing consciousness and collapsing as others grabbed him. His condition is being attributed to heatstroke and dehydration from the intense heatwave.

Ferrari's 1st fully electric car to cost over ₹6 crore: Report

Italian luxury sports car ​maker Ferrari has ‌settled on a preliminary ​price of ​about €550,000 (slightly over ₹6 crore) for ⁠its first ​fully electric ​car, Luce, Bloomberg News reported. The pricing would put the new Luce above the Italian automaker's Purosangue sport utility vehicle, which starts at about €450,000. The inaugural EV is expected to debut in Rome in May.

Smoking for those born after 2008 to be banned in UK

UK Parliament has passed the Tobacco and Vapes Bill, permanently banning tobacco sales to anyone born on or after January 1, 2009. The legislation, introduced in November 2024, cleared its final parliamentary stage on Monday. It'll come into force on January 1, 2027, after receiving royal assent. Smoking leads to 4,00,000 hospital admissions and 64,000 deaths a year in England.

Indian ship with 97,000 MT of oil arrives in India after crossing Strait of Hormuz

Indian-flagged crude oil tanker Desh Garima, carrying approximately 97,000 metric tonnes of crude oil, arrived off the Mumbai coast on Wednesday after safely crossing the Strait of Hormuz. The tanker with 31 crew members on board had crossed the strait on the same day Iran attacked two other Indian vessels. All the crew members on board the vessel are safe.

Iran attacks 3 cargo ships in Strait of Hormuz after Trump extends ceasefire

At least three ships were hit by gunfire in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, maritime security sources and the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations said. A report stated that the ships came under attack by Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard. Surgical oncologist Dr Arun Kumar Giri said "saree cancer" is a rare skin cancer that develops along the waistline due to wearing sarees tightly around waist for years. Constant friction and irritation from the petticoat string can damage skin and trigger malignant changes, he said. Two such cases were documented in the Journal of the Indian Medical Association in 2011.
