Stellar cousins of Sun found dimming faster than expected

NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory found that young Sun-like stars emit only a quarter to a third of X-rays previously expected, dimming about 15 times faster than models predicted. Researchers studied eight star clusters aged 45 million to 750 million years. The rapid decline has been attributed to weakening magnetic activity, with positive implications for life on planets orbiting such stars.

K'taka Congress MLA Vinay gets life imprisonment for BJP leader's murder in 2016

Karnataka Congress MLA Vinay Kulkarni and 15 other convicts have been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of BJP Zilla Panchayat member Yogesh Gowda in 2016. Iran has said it is opening Strait of Hormuz. In a post, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi wrote, "In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire." Iran largely closed the strait since the start of US-Israeli attacks on February 28.
