Notably, the market value of all BSE-listed companies was ₹463 lakh crore on February 27, a day before the US and Israel launched their attack on Iran. This means that the market recovered ₹54.04 lakh crore after hitting its lowest point on March 30.

35-foot-tall minaret built on govt land demolished in UP's Sambhal

A 35-foot-tall minaret of a mosque allegedly built on the government land in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal was demolished using a crane on Friday in the presence of heavy security. A mosque, a madrasa, five shops, a primary school, and several houses built on land for compost pits and playgrounds were demolished. The demolition was carried out under a court order.

Stellar cousins of Sun found dimming faster than expected

NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory found that young Sun-like stars emit only a quarter to a third of X-rays previously expected, dimming about 15 times faster than models predicted. Researchers studied eight star clusters aged 45 million to 750 million years.
