India to remain fastest growing major economy in 2026 amid global crisis

India will remain the fastest growing major economy in the world in 2026 despite global fluctuations due to the war in Iran, said IMF. India's GDP growth forecast was raised by 10 bps to 6.5% for FY27. Among the world's two largest economies, US is expected to grow at 2.3% while China's growth is projected to ease to 4.4%.

How many soldiers, ships & aircraft has US deployed for blockade of Iranian ports?

The US has deployed over 10,000 sailors, marines, and airmen, over 100 fighter and surveillance aircraft, and over 12 warships to execute the blockade of Iranian ports and coastline, US Central Command revealed.
