'Ramayana' producer rejects ₹700 crore OTT offer, eyes ₹1,000 crore deal: Report

'Ramayana' producer Namit Malhotra has reportedly turned down a ₹700 crore offer for the film's digital rights. "Given the mammoth [budget] of ₹4,000 crore...Namit and his team feel...'Ramayana' deserves more as it's a legacy film," a report said quoting a source. "He's expecting ₹1,000 crore deal...leaving ₹3,000 crore to be recovered from other sources," the report added.
