People forced to exit & re-enter same metro station in Delhi to interchange lines

Commuters switching between Red and Magenta Lines at Delhi's Madhuban Chowk Metro Station (earlier Pitampura) are forced to exit and re-enter, as the 182.7-metre foot overbridge connecting them remains incomplete. People have to walk nearly 300 metres across a busy, traffic-laden junction to interchange, HT reported. This comes despite the station being designated an interchange hub on March 8.
