McAneny sets world record for fastest goal in women's football history

Scottish footballer Maria McAneny has been presented with a Guinness World Records (GWR) title for scoring the fastest goal in the history of women's football. Her strike straight from kick-off for Celtic FC Women against Hibernian Women on December 21, 2025, hit the back of the net after just 4.1 seconds. "You are officially amazing," a GWR official told McAneny.

At least 10 people were killed and over 20 people were injured after a bus collided with a truck in Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara on Thursday.
