IPL saw deals worth ₹32,000 cr within hrs: Bhogle on RCB, RR deals

Commentator Harsha Bhogle reacted to RCB being sold to an Aditya Birla Group-led consortium for around ₹16,800 crore and RR to a Kal Somani-led consortium for about ₹15,300 crore. Half of young Indian men get jobs in 1 yr of declaring unemployment: Report

Nearly half of Indian male youth, both 12th standard passouts (51.9%) and graduates (49%), found some employment within a year of declaring themselves unemployed, according to State of Working India 2026 report. However, among graduates, only 6.7% find permanent salaried employment, while this figure is 4% for 12th-standard passouts. Around 3.7% of graduates reported getting a white-collar job.

KKR retire number 12 jersey in tribute to Andre Russell

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have retired the number 12 jersey to honour their former all-rounder Andre Russell. Russell represented KKR in all seasons from 2014 to 2025, except 2017. India buys first Iran LPG cargo in years after US eases sanctions: Report

India has bought its first cargo of Iranian liquefied petroleum gas in years after the US temporarily removed sanctions on Iran's oil and refined fuels, Reuters reported. India had stopped energy purchases from Iran in 2019 under pressure from Western sanctions. LPG supply to be cut off if households refuse to switch to PNG where available

Supply of LPG will be discontinued if consumers fail to switch to PNG where such connectivity is available, said an order. It stated that LPG supply "shall cease after three months" from date of communication if a household doesn't opt for PNG despite availability.
