How will digital payments change from April 1 due to RBI's new rules?

RBI mandated that, from April 1, all digital payments must be authenticated using two-factor authentication, such as passwords, PINs, SMS-based OTPs, or software-based authentication tokens. RBI said that one factor of the authentication must be generated uniquely for each transaction. Banks can subject high-risk transactions to extra checks, in addition to the two-factor authentication system.
