Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', which released on Thursday, has become the first Bollywood film in history to cross ₹100 crore on Day 1 of its release. The Day 1 collection has officially dethroned Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' (₹75 crore net) and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' (₹63 crore net). The first instalment of the franchise had earned ₹1,300 crore worldwide.

Premium petrol gets costlier by up to ₹2.35/litre amid Gulf war
The cost of premium petrol has been increased to up to ₹2.35 per litre by leading oil marketing companies from Friday, ANI reported. The prices of BPCL’s Speed, HPCL’s Power, and IOCL’s XP95 have been hiked between ₹2.09 and ₹2.35 per litre. This comes after the escalating war in the Middle East pushed oil prices to nearly $120 per barrel.
