A video has surfaced showing a massive explosion after a Pakistani airstrike targeted a drug rehabilitation hospital in Afghanistan's Kabul. Around 400 people died and 250 got injured in the airstrike which is reportedly the deadliest attack on Afghanistan. Another video showed security forces carrying out victims' bodies and firefighters struggling to put out flames.

Ranjeet Yadav from Bihar, who falsely claimed to have secured AlR-440 in the UPSC civil services exam, has been arrested by police. Notably, he was arrested by the same police officer who had initially interviewed him after he made the false claim. Qatar, Kuwait risk worst economic slump since 1990s amid Iran war: Report

Qatar and Kuwait's GDPs could contract by around 14% each this year if the Iran war continues until April and disrupts the Strait of Hormuz for two months, Bloomberg reported. This would mark their worst economic slump since the 1990s Gulf War. Saudi Arabia's GDP may also decline by about 3%, while the UAE's economy could shrink by around 5%.

Ex-Afghan soldier who worked with US forces dies in ICE custody

A 41-year-old former Afghan soldier who worked with US forces in Afghanistan since 2005 died in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody less than 24 hours after being detained in Texas. Mohammad Nazeer Paktiawal was evacuated from Afghanistan in 2021 when US withdrew its forces. ICE called Paktiawal, who sought asylum in US, a "criminal illegal alien" after his death.

Warner Bros CEO Zaslav to earn ₹6,100 crore from Paramount deal: Report

Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav is set to earn over $667 million (around ₹6,100 crore) from the company's sale to Paramount Skydance in a $110-billion deal, Bloomberg reported, citing filings.
