2 Indians killed, some injured: Govt on casualties in the war in Middle East

During a press conference on Wednesday, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that two Indian nationals were killed while one went missing after ships were attacked in the Middle East war. "Few Indians have suffered injury in the Gulf region...One Indian national was injured in Israel...and one Indian was injured in Dubai this morning," he added.

Supplies of domestic PNG and CNG for cars to remain at 100%: Govt amid supply concerns

The Oil and Natural Gas Ministry has clarified that supplies of domestic PNG and CNG for fuelling vehicles like cars and trucks will remain at 100% capacity amid supply concerns. Manufacturing units and industrial customers linked to the gas grid will get 80% of their average supply over last six months. Fertiliser plants will get 70% of their average supply.

According to TankerTrackers, Iran sent 11.7 million crude oil barrels to China via the Strait since the start of the war, while thousands of ships remained stranded due to the Strait's closure. Iran is reportedly using Jask oil terminal as the Strait's alternative.

Google buys tech startup Wiz for ₹2.94 lakh cr in its biggest deal

Google on Wednesday announced the completion of its acquisition of New York-based cloud and AI security startup Wiz for $32 billion (₹2.94 lakh crore) in an all-cash transaction.
