An armed man in his 20s was shot dead by US Secret Service agents and Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy after he illegally entered US President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort on Sunday. "The individual was observed by the north gate of the Mar-a-Lago property carrying what appeared to be a shotgun and a fuel can," US Secret Service said.

B'desh-based handler guided 8 held for terror plot in India, was in touch with LeT chief

Eight people, who have been arrested for allegedly plotting a terror attack in India, were being guided by a Bangladesh-based handler who was in touch with 26/11 Mumbai attacks mastermind and Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed. The handler has been identified as Shabbir Ahmad Lone, a Kashmiri militant. According to officials, Lone has maintained contact with LeT leadership since 2007.
