Delhi records hottest day of the year, maximum temperatures soar above normal

Delhi recorded the hottest day of the year so far, with its Safdarjung observatory recording a maximum temperature of 31.6°C, which is 7.2°C above normal, IMD said. Ayanagar station recorded a high of 30.4°C, marking a 7.1°C increase from the seasonal average. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures remained near or below average.

NTA withholds JEE Main 2026 results of 68 candidates over UFM

The National Testing Agency has withheld JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results of 68 candidates found using unfair means(UFM) during the examination. The agency said their scorecards will not be released as candidature stands cancelled under exam rules. JEE Main Paper 1 was conducted in 326 cities, recording a turnout of over 96% among registered candidates.

According to market research by Russian consultancy DSM, pharmacies sold 8.4 million packages of antidepressants in 2019. The figure rose to 13 million in 2022, then climbed to 15.3 million in 2023 and 17.9 million in 2024. By 2025, annual sales reached 22.3 million packages.
