Rajasthan court refuses divorce to couple married for 58 years

Rajasthan HC's Jaipur bench refused to dissolve a 58-year-old marriage, ruling ordinary quarrels do not amount to cruelty. Court upheld a 2019 family court order dismissing husband's divorce plea. Despite allegations of humiliation from an FIR and property disagreements, the bench found no legal ground for divorce, stressing normal marital conflicts cannot justify ending a long-standing marriage.

2 killed, 3 injured in chemical tank blast in Karnataka's Mandya

At least two people were killed and three others were seriously injured after a storage tank containing chemicals exploded in Karnataka's Mandya.
