The Delhi High Court on Thursday heard actor Rajpal Yadav’s bail plea in a cheque bounce case. During the hearing, the court told Rajpal, "You've gone to jail because you didn’t honour your own commitment." The court further claimed that Rajpal promised to honour his commitment to pay ₹9 crore on over two dozen occasions but failed to do so.

RBI drafts rules to curb mis-selling

The RBI proposed draft guidelines requiring banks and regulated entities to obtain explicit customer consent before offering financial products and compensate for mis-selling. Russia blocks WhatsApp for defying laws

Russia has blocked Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp, the Kremlin confirmed to news agency AFP on Thursday.
