Afghanistan's 18-year-old spinner Wahidullah Zadran is the youngest player to be included on IPL 2026 mini auction list. Wahidullah, who was born on November 15, 2007, is a spinner who has played 19 T20s. India's 39-year-old uncapped all-rounder Jalaj Saxena is the oldest player. Jalaj has taken 705 wickets and has scored 9,967 runs in his professional career across formats.

Jailed Imran, gave immunity to Munir: India as it mocks Pak at UN

India mocked Pakistan at UN by saying Pakistan has "a unique way of respecting the will of its people" by jailing a PM (Imran Khan). Owners of Goa club where fire killed 25 deported from Thailand; video surfaces

Gaurav and Saurabh Luthra, who own Birch by Romeo Lane club in Goa, were deported to India on Tuesday. A video has shown the brothers who fled after a fire at the club killed 25, at Bangkok airport. The two were detained by Thai authorities for overstaying. They'll land in Delhi today and will be handed over to Goa Police.

Sensex falls 300 points, Nifty below 25,950 at open

Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty opened lower on Tuesday. Sensex was down 325.76 points or 0.38% at 84,887.60, and the Nifty was down 99.00 points or 0.38% at 25,928.30 in early trade. The Indian rupee also weakened to a fresh all-time low for the fourth straight session, slipping to ₹90.82 per dollar, breaking its previous record low of ₹90.7875.

India proposes limited trade deal with Mexico to tackle 50% tariff

India is proposing a preferential trade deal with Mexico to counter the impact of up to 50% tariff on imports, approved by the Mexican government. "A free trade agreement will take longer…We have started discussions with Mexico on this," Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal said. The hiked tariff on Indian exports is expected to impact businesses totalling $2 billion in value.

A personnel of the Jammu and Kashmir Police's Special Operations Group (SOG) was killed in action during an ongoing encounter with terrorists in Udhampur. The policeman has been identified as Amjad Pathan, a resident of Mendhar in Poonch.
