The BJP has shared a video of people complaining about the poor quality of food served to them at Lionel Messi's Kolkata event. "₹12,000 tickets for obstructed seats, rancid chowmein peddled at ₹300, ordinary ₹20 water inflated to ₹200 rip-off," the BJP said. Notably, thousands of fans who had gathered to see Messi were left disappointed as he left early.

CSIR-UGC NET exam 2025 to be conducted from Dec 18

Organiser sat in same plane as Messi after chaos erupted, police stopped him from flying

Pakistan's Sindh government has announced a movie titled 'Mera Layari' to show the "peace, culture" of Karachi's Layari and to also "counter" recently-released 'Dhurandhar'. In 'Dhurandhar', director Aditya Dhar has focused on gang wars of Karachi and how they fund Pakistan's terrorism. The Ministry of Labour & Employment has said that under the new labour codes, the weekly work hours are limited to 48. "The Labour Codes allow flexibility of 12 hours for 4 workdays only, with the remaining 3 days as paid holidays," the ministry said to explain how a four-day work week is possible now. The 12-hour workday includes intervals.

Turkey witnesses 700 sinkholes, farms destroyed across Konya Basin

Turkey government has identified 684 sinkholes that have swallowed wheat fields across the Konya Closed Basin. Sinkholes that stretch roughly 30 meters have been pinpointed to climate change, drought and extensive groundwater extraction. According to Konya Technical University, more than 20 new large sinkholes have emerged in the past year in the Karapinar district of Konya.

Pak-origin terrorist involved in Australia terror attack that killed 11 people: Reports

Naveed Akram, one of the gunmen behind the terror attack during the Jewish festival of Hanukkah in Australia, is of Pakistani origin, several reports said.
