Former Team India captain Virat Kohli's 83rd international hundred is the 7,000th century scored in the history of men's international cricket. The first-ever international hundred was scored by Australia's Charles Bannerman in 1877. Kohli brought up his 83rd international ton in the first ODI against South Africa in Ranchi.

Pak national among others rescued by IAF in cyclone-hit Sri Lanka

The Indian Air Force is conducting a relief and rescue operation in Cyclone Ditwah-battered Sri Lanka. During one of its operations, it rescued a Pakistani national along with the citizens of Poland, Belarus, Iran, Australia and Bangladesh. Four infants were also among those rescued. Sri Lanka has declared a state of public emergency in the country.
