Maha govt orders probe in โ‚น4,500-cr land scam involving Minister Sanjay Shirsat

The Maharashtra government has formed a committee to probe the alleged โ‚น4,500-crore CIDCO land scam involving Shiv Sena leader and Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat. The allegations were made by NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) MLA Rohit Pawar. He claimed that Shirsat allocated 15 acres of land in Navi Mumbai to the Bivalkar family during his tenure as chairman of CIDCO.

Sri Lanka declares emergency, death toll rises to 132 amid floods

India's exports to US fell 28.5% after tariff hikes: GTRI Report

India's exports to US saw sharp reversal under impact of heavy tariff hikes, stated a Global Trade Research Initiative (GTRI) report.
