Air quality slips to severe category in parts of Delhi

The air quality in parts of Delhi deteriorated to the severe category on Friday. In Anand Vihar, the AQI was recorded at 403 at 9:00 am, at 405 in Okhla Phase-2 and at 412 in Wazirpur. In Mundka, the AQI was recorded at 435. A video shared by ANI showed thick layer of smog at India Gate and Kartavya Path.

UP govt directs depts not to use Aadhaar as proof of date of birth

Uttar Pradesh's Planning Department instructed all government departments not to use Aadhaar Card as a birth certificate or proof of date of birth. It also pointed out that many government departments were still using the Aadhaar Card as proof of date of birth.
