Electrician arrested in J&K in Delhi's Red Fort blast case

Jammu and Kashmir Police's State Investigation Agency arrested Tufail Niyaz Bhat from Srinagar's Batamaloo in connection with 'white collar' terror module linked to Delhi's Red Fort blast. As per reports, Bhat is an electrician from Pulwama, who is under investigation, though agencies haven't specified his role. His arrest followed an arrest warrant issued for Dr Muzaffar Ahmad Rather in Kulgam.

Centre proposes Bill to allow President make legislations for Chandigarh, appoint L-G

The Centre will introduce the Constitution (131 Amendment) Bill 2025 in the upcoming Winter Session, said a bulletin. The Bill would empower the President to legislate for Chandigarh and appoint a Lieutenant Governor to administer it, similar to Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and Daman and Diu. Since June 1, 1984, Chandigarh has been administered by the Punjab Governor.

Paul Costelloe, Princess Diana's personal designer, dies at 80

Irish fashion designer Paul Costelloe, personal designer to the late Princess Diana has died aged 80, his family said in a statement. Costelloe died peacefully, surrounded by his wife and seven children in London following short illness, they added. He was appointed as Diana's personal designer in 1983 and continued to work with her until her death in 1997.

Delhi air quality turns ‘severe’ as AQI crosses 400
