Australia defeated India by seven wickets (DLS method) in the rain-curtailed first ODI on Sunday. It's India's first defeat in an ODI in 2025, while Australia won an ODI at Perth's Optus Stadium for the first time. The match was shortened to 26 overs/side. Men's brains shrink faster than women's: Study

According to a University of Oslo study, men's brains lose volume more quickly than women's as they age. Researchers analysed 12,000-plus brain scans from people aged between 17 and 95 and noticed men had steeper drop in brain tissue across several areas. Even though men's brains shrink faster, women are still twice as likely to get Alzheimer's, the study said.

The Uttar Pradesh government has shared pictures as 26,17,215 diyas were lit across 56 ghats in Ayodhya on the eve of Diwali to break the Guinness World Record.
