KTR put under house arrest during protests against bus fare hike

BRS working president KT Rama Rao was placed under house arrest in Hyderabad after party called for a "Chalo Bus Bhavan" protest against the RTC fare hike. Authorities deployed heavy police forces at his residence to prevent mobilisation related to protests. NPCI, Razorpay, OpenAI partner for AI-driven payments on ChatGPT

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and Razorpay have collaborated with OpenAI to launch AI-driven payments on ChatGPT, the companies said on Thursday. The initiative, currently in the pilot stage, will enable users to discover products and services and make payments through UPI without leaving ChatGPT interface. Axis Bank and Airtel Payments Bank are the banking partners for the pilot.

1st ever blood test to detect long-term fatigue illness developed

Scientists at the University of East Anglia, in collaboration with Oxford Biodynamics, have developed the world’s first blood test capable of detecting myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), also known as chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). The researchers said the test has an accuracy rate of 96%. ME/CFS is a debilitating condition characterised by extreme fatigue that does not improve with rest.

UK to supply missiles to India, signs β‚Ή4,100 crore deal

UK on Thursday said that it has signed a Β£350 million (over β‚Ή4,100 crore) deal to supply the Indian Army with UK-manufactured lightweight missiles. 3-yr-old dies of rabies in Maharashtra, family says 'He feared water; drooled like dog'

A three-year-old boy, Armaan, died of rabies 10 days after he was bitten by a dog while playing in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. His family said they found teeth marks on his head. World’s first pig-to-human liver transplant keeps man alive for 171 days

Surgeons in China performed the world's first pig-to-human liver transplant on a 71-year-old man suffering from liver cancer and hepatitis B-related cirrhosis.
