ICC considers action against Pakistan for violating multiple rules in Asia Cup

ICC is considering action against Pakistan for misconduct and violating multiple rules in Asia Cup, including filming of restricted areas, before their match against UAE. The Pakistan Cricket Board has received an email by ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta detailing Pakistan's violations. Pakistan had released video of their discussion with match referee Andy Pycroft, claiming he apologised to their captain.

Zaheer Khan parts ways with LSG

7.8-magnitude earthquake hits Russia

A massive earthquake struck Russia's far eastern Kamchatka region on Friday. The US Geological Survey said the earthquake was measured at a magnitude of 7.8 and at a depth of 10 km. The remote Kamchatka region has been hit by several earthquakes over the past two months, including ones of magnitude 8.8, and two of magnitude 7.4.

Adani Group shareholders get richer by ₹52,400 crore in just 5 minutes

The combined market capitalisation of Adani Group companies rose by ₹52,400 crore in just five minutes on Friday, a day after market regulator SEBI gave the conglomerate a clean chit over Hindenburg Research's allegations. The rise was led by Adani Power, which saw a ₹14,900-crore m-cap rise, followed by Adani Enterprises (₹12,200-crore rise). Adani Total Gas' m-cap rose ₹6,950 crore.

India's rating upgraded to BBB+ by Japan ratings agency, month after US agency's upgrade

Japan's Rating and Investment Information (R&I) has upgraded India's long-term sovereign credit rating from 'BBB' to 'BBB+', while retaining 'stable' outlook for the Indian economy. Assam Rifles truck attacked in Manipur, 2 jawans killed in action

At least two jawans of the Assam Rifles were killed in action as a truck carrying them came under attack at Nambol Sabal Leikai in Manipur's Bishnupur district, officials said on Friday. NATO member Estonia said three Russian jets violated its airspace for 12 minutes. NATO said it intercepted the jets, calling it "another example of reckless Russian behaviour."
