71 large US firms filed for bankruptcy in July, most in a month since COVID-19 pandemic

US corporate bankruptcies in July hit their highest monthly level since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Large public and private company filings rose from 66 in June to 71 in the month. This brought total filings in the first seven months of 2025 to 446, the most for this period since 2010, according to official data.

16 BSF personnel to get gallantry medals for Operation Sindoor

Sixteen jawans of the Border Security Force (BSF) have been shortlisted for gallantry medals for displaying "conspicuous bravery" and "unmatched valour" during Operation Sindoor. The personnel shot down Pakistani drones and rescued injured comrades, and continued to perform duties even while being injured in Pakistani shelling. 20 killed after massive cloudburst in J&K

At least 20 people have been killed and dozens injured after a massive cloudburst caused a flash flood in Jammu and Kashmir's Chashoti village on Thursday, authorities said.
