Rolex founder was Nazi spy & sympathised with Hitler, claim MI5 documents

Hans Wilsdorf, Founder of premium watch-maker Rolex, was an alleged Nazi spy and sympathised with ex-German Chancellor Adolf Hitler, The Telegraph reported citing previously classified MI5 documents. World War II papers, dated between 1941 and 1943, stated that Wilsdorf was "most objectionable" and "suspected of espionage". Secret agents wanted to blacklist him, a move which would've hurt Rolex.

New quantum vortex formation likened to Van Gogh’s 'The Starry Night'

Osaka Metropolitan University and Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology researchers observed the quantum Kelvin-Helmholtz instability (KHI) for the first time. KHI was predicted decades ago but not previously seen in quantum fluids. 2 rockets launched from Gaza into Israel

Vadra got ₹58 crore as proceeds of crime in land deal case: ED

The Enforcement Directorate told a special court that businessman Robert Vadra received ₹58 crore as proceeds of crime (POC) in Gurugram land deal case. The ED said that while ₹53 crore was routed through Skylight Hospitality, another ₹5 crore was routed through Blue Breeze Trading. The chargesheet also revealed these funds were allegedly used by Vadra to purchase immovable properties.

Over 600 pilgrims hospitalised due to chlorine gas leak in Iraq

More than 600 pilgrims in Iraq were hospitalised with respiratory problems after inhaling chlorine as the result of a leak at a water treatment station. The incident took place overnight on the route between holy cities of Najaf and Karbala, located in the centre and south of Iraq. Iraq's Health Ministry said 621 cases of asphyxia have been recorded.

India's 1st animal stem cell biobank inaugurated in Hyderabad

Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Saturday inaugurated India's first animal stem cell biobank and laboratory at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB) in Hyderabad. The 9,300 sq ft biobank, constructed at a cost of ₹1.85 crore, will focus on regenerative medicine and cellular therapies for livestock.
