Tata Sons-backed Tata Capital has filed for an IPO with SEBI, offering a total of 47.58 crore shares for sale. The IPO will include a fresh issue of 21 crore shares and an offer for sale of 23 crore shares by Tata Sons and 3.58 crore shares by International Finance Corporation. President's Rule in Manipur extended by 6 months

The Parliament on Tuesday approved a statutory resolution to extend President's Rule in Manipur by six months beyond August 13. Lok Sabha had approved the resolution last week while Rajya Sabha approved it today with a voice vote.
