After Pakistan's plea on Indus Waters Treaty, India rejected the ruling by an illegal Court of Arbitration, which issued a "supplemental award" on its competence concerning the Kishenganga and Ratle hydroelectric projects in J&K. MEA said, "This latest charade at Pakistan's behest is yet another desperate attempt by it to escape accountability for its role as global epicentre of terrorism."

Bihar becomes first Indian state to allow voting via mobile app

Bihar has become the first Indian state to allow voting through a mobile phone app, State Election Commissioner Deepak Prasad said. The Android-based e-voting system will be implemented on June 28 during municipal by-elections for chief councillor, deputy chief councillor and ward councillor posts in Buxar Nagar Parishad. Around 50,000 eligible citizens will be able to vote remotely.

UK agrees to move its F-35B fighter jet stranded at Kerala airport for 2 weeks

Two weeks after British F-35B fighter jet made emergency landing at Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram airport, the UK has accepted an offer to move the jet to the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facility at the airport, a UK spokesperson said. Earlier, reports stated that a special towing equipment is being flown in from the UK to move the jet.

Suicide attack in Pakistan, 13 soldiers killed

Govt proposes to mandate 2 helmets with every new 2-wheeler purchase

The government has proposed to make it mandatory for manufacturers to provide two helmets when a new two-wheeler is purchased.
