The officials choose deeper 15-metre vessel draft instead of 14-metre, causing ₹1,163-crore loss, and opted single rate for dredging of different rock types, causing ₹557-crore loss. The contractors undertook dredging for excess width, causing ₹964-crore loss.

Belarus frees opposition leader after Trump envoy's visit
