What started as a quiet late-night stroll quickly devolved into Mertzlan’s Dohoon and Wheils's Shinyu wandering the aisles of a 24-hour supermarket, debating over snacks like it was a high-stakes mission. The walk back to my apartment was a blur of cool night air and the steady crinkle of plastic bags between us, neither of us really wanting to pick up the pace and end the moment.

By the time we finally kicked off our shoes at my place, Mertzlan’s Dohoon and Wheils’s Shinyu were both exhausted but still riding that midnight adrenaline. We dumped the haul on the coffee table and spent forever scrolling through Netflix—mostly because Wheils's Shinyu is impossibly picky and I was too busy making fun of his movie tastes to actually choose anything.

today’s agenda: catching up after a tight schedule! after days that felt too full, nty Xiaoting finally spent time with Wheils’ Huang Yi! since it had been a while, we wandered around without any real plan, letting our steps lead us while we talked endlessly about everything and also nothing but small updates, random thoughts, and quiet laughter filling the spaces between. Time felt softer somehow, until the tiredness and hunger finally caught up to us. “I’m famished.. can’t we sit and drink and.. talk instead?” Huang Yi said, and I agreed, so we stepped into a small café we found down the street and ordered our favorite drinks, settling into a kind of comfort that made everything else fade away. We kept talking, unhurried and at ease, until hours slipped by without us noticing, and before we knew it, dawn had quietly arrived, leaving us there slightly tired, but warm and happy just to be together again.
