Today could easily be called one of the busiest days the Morthen family had ever faced. Some of them were out of town, others were staying over at friends’ houses, while a few were still tied up with work—each pulled in different directions by their own responsibilities.

Jennie and Seulgi were caught up in back-to-back endorsement schedules. Jackson sat through a long work, his focus unwavering, while Nicholas remained glued to his computer screen, fingers moving tirelessly across the keyboard. James and Keonho were in the midst of rehearsals, preparing for an upcoming performance with their friends. Elsewhere, Leeseo was also busy, carefully getting herself ready for her own performance. Ella was away, spending time at a friend’s place, while Heeseung, Taesan and Keeho were enjoying a brief escape at their vacation spot, surrounded by friends. Hyewon had just returned home from the café, carrying the quiet exhaustion of a day spent working on assignments. And as for Eunchae and Leean—though they stayed at home, their rooms were anything but idle. One was busy editing, the other buried in schoolwork, each absorbed in their own tasks.

Yet despite the distance and the packed schedules, they still found time for one another. Screens lit up as they gathered online, joining a Zoom meeting that bridged the miles between them. Laughter, stories, and familiar voices filled the call. Time slipped by unnoticed—two hours passing as if they were nothing at all. Even without sharing the same space, they shared something just as meaningful: a moment together.
