Hush & Paper—Stars.

This small winter postcard drifts gently toward @GhostOfMorthen. Folded wishes &, wrapped in soft cold, and a smile meant to arrive gently. Sealed in quiet chrome, a soft bruise folded between paper hours. I let the cold sign its name slowly, lace the silence with patient light, and leave this hush where your hands may find it. The night behaves politely here, cups of dimness set on the table, petals of frost learning how to stay, nothing hurries the ink. And.. only a calm damage resting in place, waiting to be held! ♡

The trees rise in their mirthful regalia, bough garlanded with chromatic baubles and crowned at its zenith by a star of unblemished radiance. Snow has settled in generous drifts this season. @GhostOfMorthen, has your most treasured sweater found querencia upon your shoulders? Your ubiquity has fraternised me through anaemic chapters. From the days when we clutched our wands with endearing ineptitude to hour we learned to concoct our own draughts. I can only pray the winged courier has not consigned this missive astray. Should it be you who reads these lines, may forbearing providence abide faithfully at your side.
