Running for President | Regenerative Governance

For the Regenerative Culture Podcast I sat down with Jim Gale, founder of Food Forest Abundance and now The Stewardship Party.

He spent years turning American lawns into food forests and now he is stepping up his leadership to help solve world problems.

His whole platform runs on one idea that a permaculturists already know in their hands: Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share, and most of what we call politics starts solving itself.

The simplicity is the radical part like Bill Mollison once said:

“Though the problems of the world are increasingly complex, the solutions remain embarrassingly simple.”

- Public land planted instead of mowed
- Schools that feed the families around them
- You cannot starve people who feed themselves
- Power handed back down to households and communities

This lands right in the middle of what we are exploring all week: Regenerative Governance.

Jim is running a campaign that answers by demonstration rather than argument, which is exactly the move we keep coming back inside the Regenerative Leadership Community.
