I’m looking for a quote from Bill Mollison. Something about fighting the government/wanting failure while not being self reliant and how ignorant that is. Can anyone help me find that and post it here?

"Most people don't really know how to survive. They think they do, but they don't. They think they'll just go out and get a job. But if there's no jobs, or if the economy collapses, they're in trouble. They won't survive. And then they'll want to blame the government for not helping them, but they won't have done anything to help themselves. That's the most ignorant attitude one can have." Bill Mollison

Now that our Offgrid food, water and energy facility is being built, we would like to test out the best options for batteries… We already have the solar panels and we’d like to get two or three different types of portable batteries, and Affiliate with these manufacturers, I would love your suggestions. Thank you.

From Rowdy Meyer, a.k.a. Tag. In my opinion, the most successful community developer in the United States right now, all things considered!

Hello all, I was speaking to Jim this morning and he asked me to post our communities mission. We have honed these building blocks into 3 goals.

1. Individual sovereignty
In our community the rights of the individual always trump the rights of the community.
2. Perpetual sustainability
We focus alot on making sure our community is bigger than any one person. It also helps us pursue self accountability and steers us away from dependency.
3. Cooperative Security
Most people view this as bullets but it's far more. As an example: We , through voluntaryism work to protect the food security of everyone. This works the same for energy, health, water and much more.

I hope this is what you were looking for Jim. Have a great all.
