14th June World Blood Donor Day 2025 theme 'Give blood, give hope: together we save lives'

Why 14th June is remembered as World Blood Donor Day ?👇🏼

Because it marks the birth anniversary of Karl Landsteiner (born on 14 June 1868), the Austrian immunologist and pathologist who discovered the ABO blood group system — the foundation of modern blood transfusion. His discovery made safe blood transfusions possible, saving millions of lives every year.

To honor his contribution and to promote voluntary, safe, and unpaid blood donation, the World Health Organization (WHO) designated 14th June as World Blood Donor Day in 2004.

Father's Day is usually celebrated on the third Sunday of June in many countries like the USA, UK, India, and others. Sometimes, like this year (2025), the third Sunday happens to be June 15, but in other years it can fall on any date between June 15-21.

Why was June (third Sunday) chosen as Father's Day ? 👇🏼

The modern Father's Day was first celebrated in 1910 in the U.S. It was started by Sonora Smart Dodd, who wanted to honor her father, a Civil War veteran who raised six children alone. She proposed the celebration be held in June because her father’s birthday was in June. In 1972, U.S. President Richard Nixon officially made Father's Day a national holiday on the third Sunday of June.

અમદાવાદમાં બનેલી વિમાન દુર્ઘટનામાં મૃત્યુ પામેલાઓના પરિવારજનોના DNA સેમ્પલિંગથી મેચિંગ સુધીની પ્રક્રિયા સતત 24 કલાક કરવામાં આવી રહી છે : FSL ડિરેક્ટર શ્રી એચ.પી. સંઘવી

શ્રી સંઘવીએ DNA પ્રોફાઇલિંગ અને મેચિંગની પ્રક્રિયા વિશે માહિતી આપતા કહ્યું કે, DNAના સેમ્પલ મેળવવાની મુખ્યત્વે બે પદ્ધતિ છે.

એક પદ્ધતિમાં ફ્રેશ બ્લડમાંથી સેમ્પલ લેવામાં આવે છે, જે જટિલ પ્રક્રિયા નથી.

જ્યારે બીજી પદ્ધતિમાં મૃતકના અવશેષોમાંથી સેમ્પલ લેવામાં આવે છે, જે જટિલ અને વધુ ચોકસાઈ માંગી લે તેવી પ્રક્રિયા છે. મૃતકના અવશેષમાંથી લીધેલ સેમ્પલને ચીવટતાથી સાફ કરવામાં આવે છે જેથી સેમ્પલમાં કોઈ બાહ્ય અશુદ્ધિઓ ન રહે...

FSL દ્વારા DNA પ્રોફાઇલિંગ અને મેચિંગની પ્રક્રિયા વધુ ચોકસાઈપૂર્વક કરી ખૂબ જ ટૂંકા ગાળામાં મોટાભાગના મૃતકોની તેમના પરિવારજનો સાથેની ઓળખ પ્રસ્થાપિત કરી દેવામાં આવી છે.

આ ફાઇલમાં ખાસ એ ધ્યાન રાખવું કે જ્યાં જ્યાં YELLOW HIGHLIGHTS કરેલ હશે એ ફાઇનલ આન્સર કી માં જે જવાબો બદલ્યા હશે એ પ્રમાણે હશે. જેથી દરેક પ્રશ્નના ફાઇનલ આન્સર શું છે એ ખ્યાલ પડશે. જ્યાં YELLOW HIGHLIGHTSનથી કરેલ તેમ ફાઇનલ આન્સર કી માં કોઈ પરિવર્તન નહીં હોય.

બાકી લડી લેજો તમારી રીતે.

હસમુખ સાહેબ અંતર્ગત લેવાયેલ બધી જ પ્રિલીમનું આ compilation છે. આ આપેલ ફાઈલ સેવ રાખજો. જેમ જેમ પ્રિલીમ લેવાતી જશે તેમ તેમ આ ફાઈલને આ તેના મૂળ સ્થાને જ અપડેટ કરીશું. બસ તમારે માત્ર ફાઈલ ફરી ડાઉનલોડ કરવાની રહેશે. ધન્યવાદ..!!!
