Last night wasn’t supposed to be anything special. The moment we step inside, I’m already talking. About the tree, the lights, the fact that it smells too much like Christmas. Ellvius’ Leehan just nods beside me—Sveic's Taesan, quiet like always, slipping his coat off neatly. Sveic’s Martin’s circling the room like he’s on caffeine, and Ellvius’ Keonho’s shaking a box of ornaments. “Hey—don’t touch that,” I say, probably louder than needed. Ellvius’ Keonho grins. “Relax, nothing’s broken. Yet.”

Five minutes later, something definitely is. An ornament rolls across the floor, Sveic’s Martin laughs way too hard, and I groan. “You two are banned from standing up,” I announce, dropping onto the rug. Ellvius’ Leehan sits next to me without a word. I keep rambling, complaining, joking, filling the space—while he just listens, calm as ever. The lights blink, the room’s a mess, but somehow it’s perfect. The house was loud, messy, and warm—and yeah, thinking back, that was just another night with them.
