and how exactly can you decide that this isn’t the right place for it? temen-temen kita tertindas disana, take to the streets with nothing but their voices, are beaten down, silenced with fists and drowned in clouds of tear gas. mereka butuh bantuan, mereka butuh bantuan medis. mereka butuh untuk mencari kerabat-kerabatnya. if you feel like there’s nothing you can really do about it directly, then at the very least just spread it across every platform you’ve got. not everyone has the chance to be out there on the ground, but using your space online to keep the word moving is already a way of showing up and not letting the silence win.

kalau-kalau kurang berkenan, don’t turn yourself into the excuse someone uses to go quiet, to stop speaking out, or to give up on chasing justice. the world already has enough walls trying to shut people down—don’t become another one of them. instead, let people feel like their words still matter, like their voices still carry weight no matter how small they think they are.
