the reason why we broke up @KEONHYNAREAPER

We didn’t really fight that much, but something felt off. The way we cared started to change, like we were just there out of habit. I noticed it, but I stayed quiet, hoping it was just a phase. It wasn’t. In the end, it felt more like holding on to memories than building something real, so I chose to let it go.

We kept saying “it’s okay” when it really wasn’t. We ignored the things that hurt, thinking they’d fix themselves. But they didn’t they just built up over time. I started to realize we weren’t really understanding each other anymore. I still cared, but staying felt like pretending, so I chose to walk away.

At first, everything felt easy. We talked about everything, laughed at the smallest things. But slowly, the conversations got shorter, the effort faded, and I started to feel alone even when we were still together. I waited, hoping it would go back to how it used to be. It didn’t. I still care about him, but I couldn’t keep holding onto something that was already slipping away.

I kept telling myself you’d change, that maybe you just needed time. So I stayed, even when things started to hurt more than they made me happy. I gave chances I probably shouldn’t have, hoping you’d finally see me the way I saw you. But in the end, I realized I was loving you louder than you ever loved me. And that hurt enough to finally let go.
