Coinbase has received regulatory approval to expand its cryptocurrency services into Argentina, where around 5 million users engage with crypto daily. This expansion aims to enhance economic freedom, a mission underscored by the completion of previous launches in Brazil. With a significant percentage of Argentinians viewing cryptocurrency as a remedy for economic challenges such as high inflation and transaction costs, Coinbase appoints Matìas Alberti, a fintech veteran, to drive its new operations.
