The TON Foundation has announced the launch of a new governance model, the Society DAO, aimed at promoting decentralization and mitigating centralization risks within the TON ecosystem, which is supported by founding members including TON Core and Wallet in Telegram. The Society DAO will provide enhanced transparency and resources through a community-driven approach, allowing users to participate in decision-making processes. Additionally, the Wallet in Telegram is enhancing its offerings by integrating custodial and self-custodial wallet options to better serve its 950 million users, ensuring secure and versatile access to the TON ecosystem.
